Anti-Ragging Cell

Nethradhama School of Optometry is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the institution, including all academic departments, laboratories, library and at our hospital premises.

As per compliance of Hon. Supreme Court of India, UGC guidelines and Ragging Prohibition Act 1999 and UGC guidelines, Nethradhama School of Optometry is having following Anti-Ragging measures.

• Formation of Anti-Ragging committee, Anti Ragging Monitoring Cell, Squad panel and mentoring cell for the students.
• Affidavits from parents and students are taken at the time of admission.
• Names and phone numbers of the anti-ragging committee members are displayed on the notice board.
• Anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively or being part of a conspiracy to promote ragging will be brought to the notice of Anti ragging committee for the necessary actions.
• Regular meetings are conducted to ensure ragging free campus.
