My name is Nikhita, and I am currently working in the UK after completing my Master’s in Vision Science from the University of Manchester. My time at Nethradhama School of Optometry, pursuing my Bachelor's in Optometry was truly transformative. The faculty were incredibly supportive, encouraging, and always willing to help, whether it was clarifying a concept after class or if any of the students needed guidance. I had wonderful supervisors who mentored me closely and pushed me to grow both academically and clinically.
The program gave me solid exposure to both the clinical and research sides of optometry, which helped me build a strong foundation of knowledge and hands-on experience. That foundation has stayed with me, and I was able to transfer the skills I learned here. I'm truly grateful for everything NSO gave me, both as a professional and as a person.

Optometry School is famously rigorous but the collaborative environment at Nethradhama School of optometry makes all the difference. The faculty have an open door policy, and our professors genuinely care about helping us Master complex topics like low vision rehabilitation, optics, pediatric vision therapy and specially contact lens fittings. College has best faculty . All faculty's are well qualified and teaching pedagogy is very good. We are taught directly by leaders in the field, treating a highly diverse patient population with varied ocular conditions. I feel completely equipped and confident to step into the professional world as a skilled empathetic clinician.
